Thanks to everybody who submitted energy consumption numbers to the November 2012 Graph 500 list! Unfortunately, we could not include those submissions into the Green Graph 500 list because we could not be sure if all submissions followed the rules<\/a>and used the same energy measurement methodology.<\/p>\n

However, we still want to present the interesting data we received so far. The 16 submissions were a wide mix of academia and industry systems including special-built analytics machines and Argonne’s Mira BlueGene\/Q supercomputer.<\/p>\n

The list is dominated by single-node machines, as one would expect (Scott’s ipad may have not been expected here). Interestingly, the first multi-node entry is a rather large (and efficient) 4096 core BlueGene\/Q machine.<\/p>\n
